Curating a Wix Page (COMM 333)

Since I didn't really create a WIX page I feel like the questions that are supposed to be answered in this blog really do not relate to me. Instead I would like to talk about the challenges of reinventing a WIX page that I had already published.
In the begging of curating my WIX page I found it easy because I already had a base to go by. However, after about an hour messing around with it I started to find it challenging to be creative. My WIX page, before I curated it, was really just a plain jane e-portfolio. But since I had to spruce it up a bit I decided to add a little personality to it as well. I figured the employers would be attractive more to something they could relate to instead of just the basics. However, this strategy could hurt me or help me depending on what companies look at it. Some companies like to see a little personality while others are more by the book. I would prefer to work for a company that likes a little personality instead of being by the book.
Since updating my WIX page I feel pretty confident about it. I’ve updated some links to it and am currently tweaking my resume. I know that there is always room for improvement on an e-portfolio and I will continue to update it as much as possible.
