Welcome to WIX!! (COMM 302)

When I heard that we were going to do an e-portfolio I was a little nervous. I have never even heard of an e-portfolio before this class. And if I had I just never really paid it any mind. After going to the Wix website I realized that it was very user friendly and I knew I wasn’t going to have a problem creating my e-portfolio.

The easiest part about setting up my Wix page was selecting a template. I wanted my template to be simple and professional looking and I think I found the perfect one pretty quick. The most challenging part about setting up my account was trying to figure out where I wanted to place everything on my page. I still haven’t figured out exactly how I want it, but I think by the end of the semester it will be perfect.

Since the Wix website has been so user friendly I found myself being extremely confident in doing great with this project. However, I did come across a few questions while playing with Wix. Does anybody have access to my information? And if they do is there a way to block who sees certain things on my page? I really don’t want my contact information out there for the world to have. Just had a few concerns about privacy issues.

In all the Wix website is great. So far I’ve really enjoyed playing around with it. Just those few privacy issues bother me.
